Hey all,
The Lindy Project is having an open house this Wednesday at Tapestry Dance Company. We would like to invite you to come take a free class, see what our classes are like, ask questions, and dance!
First there will be two FREE classes from 7:30-8:30:
- Basics to Swing
- Attack of the Rhythm (int/adv)
The Basics to Swing class will be a great class for anyone that's interested in beginning to swing dance! Bring your friends and family so they can see how cool learning to dance can be!
The Attack of the Rhythm class is for all those people in approximately Level 3 or higher. You'll learn awesome rhythms, how to learn / practice them, and how to work them into your dancing!
Then from 8:30-10:30 we will have a FREE deejayed dance. You'll get a chance to have fun practicing your new moves, meeting new people, and dancing with the instructors!

Lone Star Championships - January 23-25, 2009
Dun dun DUHHHH!!! Lone Star Championships is back for our second year! This year promises to have more exciting competitions and performances, amazing workshops from some of the world's finest dancers and instructors, and of course, ridiculous amounts of social dancing.
So mark January 23-25th, 2009 on your calendar, put it on your refrigerator, write it on your forehead... because you do NOT want to miss out!

A week of FREE stuff! :D
Hey all,
The Lindy Project has a week of FREE stuff for you! :)
OPEN HOUSE AT THE LINDY PROJECT: This month there are 5 Wednesdays, so tomorrow night we will be having an open house. That's 7:30-10:30 at Tapestry on April 30th. There is a free intro to Swing and Charleston class taught by Mike and Vanessa at 7:30 and then a free dance from 8:30-10:30. We hope you can make it and bring your friends for a free lesson and dance! :) Check out http://www.thelindyproject.com/ for more info.
SOUL JAM!: This Sunday May 4th, from 8 to midnight, is Soul Jam! It's at Copa, a bar, so it's 18 and up. How is this Free? Well, if you bring two non-dancers (or dancers that have never been to Soul Jam! before), then Copa is waiving the cover and ALL THREE OF YOU get in for free!! All you have to do is email me their names / email addresses along with yours, and bring them to the event. And I'll have all of you on the guest list. Easy! :)
